Overactive sweat glands – Stop Sweating Now

On a hot day or after a hard workout, it’s easy to feel you are sweating too much. For the most part, this type of sweating is completely natural. It’s really a problem only when a person begins to sweat when hot or when they have not done anything to exert themselves.

1. There is a medical condition known as hyphidrosis that causes a person to sweat excessively low or no reason. This sweat can occur on the hands, feet, under arms or in the groin area. Once started, it is almost impossible to stop. Often, someone who deals with this condition are nervous because of his sweat, then sweat more just.

It can be difficult to cope with this condition. Overactive sweat glands in your hands can make it difficult for a person to perform basic actions. Sweating elsewhere may mean that a person has to change clothes several times a day. It can be very frustrating and embarrassing.

2. Fortunately, there are treatments for this condition. One option for dealing with hyperactive sweat glands is to use a prescription strength antiperspirant. You should consult with a doctor for a prescription. Unfortunately, it might not work for severe cases.

For more severe cases of the condition, there are some solutions that work well, but only work temporarily and have to be redone frequently. For example, it can inject Botox into the affected areas, which fill the pores and reduce sweating.

Another similar solution is called inontophoresis. This method puts an electric current through a person’s body, usually through both hands and both feet. Use water with a special solution as a conductor, and minerals in the solution filling the pores helping to reduce sweating.
